Boogiepop Missing is a story that's very near and dear to my heart, and Tosuke Kigawa in particular is a character I just love very much. This piece isn't one I'm too happy with in retrospect. I've always wanted to express my love for this character and for the Boogiepop series as a whole through fan art, but it's a very tough one for me. For some reason, despite loving these characters deeply, I find it difficult to be satisfied with any representation of them I am able to make. Maybe one day I'll be able to draw him in a way that makes me happy. Then again, I guess that fleeting, hard-to-grasp and all-too-easily lost ideal being inaccessible to me is fitting enough considering this story.
